Our Explicit Improvement Agenda for 2021 builds on the ethos of a whole school approach to effective Teaching and Learning, and knowledge of best practice, that we have been engaged with here at Thornlands, for the last 10 years. It:

- continues our ongoing priority of ensuring that our most capable students are being extended to the full range of their potential.
As you know all of our students have their own individual reading and writing goals. This assists them to strive for improvement and track their own progress. Each year we utilise a broad range of data to track our performance as a school and the individual progress of each and every student. We also set school goals in order to track how the school is improving overall. NAPLAN results, in a given year, and over a number of years are just one such measure.
