Throughout this term the students have been engaged in the production of Information Reports in English. Each year researched a different topic - Year 4 were reading and writing about animals found on Quandamooka Country, Year 5 discovered facts and wrote about the different planets in the solar system while Year 6 identified and reported on an invention that has impacted on their lives.
There were also eggs being dropped from heights in technology, animal adaptions redesigned, discoveries made about the First Fleet, the justice system demystified, preparing for a natural disaster, Cluster Languages Day, researching energy drinks, Fanfare, Cluster Sports and Athletics. Life is a rich tapestry at Thornlands State School.
