Thornlands
State School is located in a picturesque, leafy setting that attracts
wildlife such as koalas and bush turkeys. Original buildings have been upgraded
to cater for education in the 21st century and we welcome the recent addition
of a new library and classroom block. Facilities also include highly developed
grounds, sporting fields, tennis court, a large community hall and a 25 metre
swimming pool.
Integration of
technology exists throughout all year levels from our prep classes through to
year six. Four computer labs and banks of IPads are used by every class in
the school and interactive whiteboards are utilized in all classrooms.
