In Week 7, we started to get into the Christmas spirit with performances being filmed for our online concert. With the super technical wizardry of Tom Walters, each year level has been filmed as well as Senior Choir, Band and Strings. Videos are currently being released daily with the final one on the last day of school - a whole school performance of 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas'. We thank all the staff and students who contributed to making this event a success including Kate Connor, Tiffany Truscott, Ross Penny, Robyn Wilton and the administration team.
On Monday 29th November, our Band, Strings and Senior Choir performed with confidence and enthusiasm at the Twilight Concert. These students captivated the audience as they performed with confidence and enthusiasm! For some, this was the first time they had performed on stage with their school group. A big thank you to Ash Higgins, Laszlo Sirsom, Tom Walters, Ross Penny and the administration team at Thornlands State School for making this such a memorable event for our students.
