Special congratulations to our Thornlands Track and Field Team, led by Aaron Tuni our outstanding P.E. teacher, for recently winning the Bayside District Track and Field Carnival. It has to be said that not only did our team win, but they beat Sheldon College and Ormiston College who came second and third respectively.
In addition, not only did our students perform outstandingly well in their events they also attracted attention from other schools, for their outstanding behavior and sportsmanship during the two day event. They, and indeed the whole school community, can be very proud of their achievements. Good luck to those athletes who have now qualified to go on and compete in the Metropolitan East competition coming up soon.
