In Week 8 of Term 2, the Year 4 students and staff set off to Burleigh for 3 days and 2 nights for Year 4 Camp. What a FANTASTIC time we had.
The walk to and from the beach each day through the windy track of the National Park was just glorious and despite the cold snap we experienced that week, the beach was a picturesque paradise!
Over the course of the 3 days, we participated in many beach activities including Dragon Boating, Giant SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding), The Amazing Race, Initiative Team Building Games and morning walks but by far the favourite amongst the group was tubing. The night times were filled with trivia, singing, dancing and lots of laughter.
We would like to thank the truly MAGNIFICENT staff at CYC Burleigh for hosting us this year. Congratulations to all of the students for their exemplary behaviour and for getting in and having a go with each and every activity.
We hope that all of the students left camp with memories that will last a lifetime!
