The year 6 students have begun the year as excellent role models to younger students. Our school leaders - captains, student council, house captains and indigenous ambassador are doing an admirable job in their particular roles but it is the body of Year 6 students who as a whole cohort are demonstrating positive choices in the classroom and playground.
Leaders have started on the projects nominated at Cluster Leadership Day, or will likely get underway this term eg Athletics Training for younger students.
This term in the classrooms every year level are engaging in Information Reports as part of their English subject learning, this has transformed into a hive of focused research as students unpack text features of an information report and construct their own, which in upper school includes referencing.
In the photo gallery there are a range of examples of student writing, artwork, technology project, classroom displays and students at work.
Doing a great job Year 6 students and teachers, keep the momentum of success going!
