Congratulations our 67 students who were involved in Thornlands Thinkers last term. This term our Year 2 and Year 4 students will be involved in Thornlands Thinkers, with a focus on literature. Students will write and publish their own text and learn about the creative process of publishing a book. Students will then record themselves reading the books and share these with their peers and students across the school.
Two competitions will also be running this term for Thornlands Thinkers. The first is a drawing competition. Students are invited to submit an illustration of their choice. The second competition is for students to write a piece of poetry for the Dorothea MacKellar Poetry Awards. Posters can be found around the school advertising both of these competitions for Term Two.
