Our Cross Country will now be held this Tuesday 26 April 2022.
Below is information relating to our up and coming School Cross County. This year we will be dividing our School Cross Country into senior and junior events.
TIME:
9:15 - 10:45am – Prep, Years 1, 2 and 3's born 2014. (Running inside school grounds)
11:55 - 1:30pm – Year 4, 5, 6 and 3's born 2013. (Running outside of school grounds)
It is our hope that all children participate in the cross-country and have a go, whether this is to walk/jog it with a friend, run it competitively to try for age champion or qualify for school selection (10, 11 and 12 year olds). Any child who participates in the cross country will earn participation points for their house.
In order for age groups born 2013 à 2010 to cover the recommended distance for their age group in the cross country, they will be running outside the school grounds. The children do not run on any bitumen road surface at any time during the cross-country. They run on the footpath around the outside of the school and over the lawns of some houses on Osprey Drive and Petrel Court where they link back to the footpath again as they head back to school. Children will be under constant supervision with teachers placed around the course.
If your child is born in 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010, they will need the permission of a parent/caregiver to run the race outside of the school grounds. Without permission, your child will be unable to leave the school grounds.

Below is the timetable of events for the day. All children will run in their age group except Prep. Children should wear their house colours. This timetable is only a guide and may change on the day of competition.
