On Tuesday 20 October, Year 4 hosted guest speakers from JJ Richards and EnviroCom to further their knowledge and understanding about waste management as part of their current HASS unit. The students were given the opportunity to ask questions about the impact of waste on the environment and the steps that are being taken to improve this. The students then participated in their own waste management audit as they investigated the type of rubbish being disposed of at school and identify solutions to improve the amount of waste that goes to landfill each week.
