Our Student Council ‘Day for Daniel’ Free Dress Day raised $772.75 with the money going to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Thank you to all families who participated and contributed to this important day.
The Day for Daniel is a National Day of Action to raise awareness of child safety, protection and harm prevention and to promote a safer community for children. Although all students are taught the Daniel Morcombe Child Safety units at various junctions throughout their schooling at Thornlands State School, this day is a further opportunity to reinforce the key messages taught through these units.

By now you should have received your class photo order. We have been informed by MSP that extra-curricular orders are now on their way. As you are aware, due to COVID-19 restrictions this year, the class photos did look a little different as they were presented in the composite style rather than the traditional school class photo layout.
This process actually enabled greater quality assurance and personal attention for each student at our school and a more efficient and streamlined process overall for the day. However, we are also keen for your feedback regarding the final product. Please click on the following link to access a very quick and easy survey.
We thank you in advance for taking the time to provide us with this invaluable information.
