Mrs Jennie Baddeley -Year One
Mrs Jocelyn Williams - Year Two
Mr Dennis and Mrs Margie Baldwin - Year Three
Mr Richard Lewis - Year Four
Mrs Barbara Schmidt - Year Five
Mrs Margaret Watterson - Year 6
BEGINNING WITH GOD is a Year One program that introduces students to the key themes of the Bible and the Christian faith. Children engage with the themes through music, drama, reading and writing, puzzle-solving, drawing and asking questions.
Years Two to Five instructors follow the approved CEP CONNECT curriculum. The lessons are Bible based covering Bible history from creation to God’s ultimate purpose. Each lesson introduces concepts, themes and major characters from the Old and New Testaments. Lessons also cover key Christian events such as Easter and Christmas. Students engage with the concepts through music, drama, reading and writing, puzzle-solving, drawing and asking questions.
BIG QUESTIONS is a one-year program designed for students in their last year of primary school who are ready to explore some big questions, share their own opinions and investigate the Bible for themselves.
If your child is not yet enrolled to participate in Christian Religious Instruction, you can provide written consent by sending a note to the school office. Further information is available in the form of a brochure at the office. Students who attended lessons last year will continue this year unless a written request from a parent/carer is received to withdraw consent.
Students who do not participate, must work on other regular classwork during the half hour session.
