2017 Premier's Reading Challenge

The Premier's Reading Challenge is an annual statewide initiative which aims to improve literacy and encourage children to read widely for pleasure and learning. Students in Years Prep to Year 4 are challenged to read 20 books, listing them on the Reading Log.  (Prep and Year 1 students can have the books read to them.) Year 5 and 6 students read 15 books for their challenge. Children and students who complete the challenge will have their efforts recognised by receiving a Certificate of Achievement signed by the Premier of Queensland. Reading Log forms will be distributed to classes within the next week, and completed forms need to be returned to the Library by 25th August.
